新潟県佐渡地方（八幡）重ね佐渡箪笥

この佐渡箪笥は、金具も厚手で下段の扉上に小抽斗二杯有る八幡箪笥の中でも上手の箪笥です。

金具は、古手で厚手の平打出透かし金具が付けられています。

上から恵比寿大黒・高砂・竹取物語（かぐや姫）・波に亀・小抽斗は菊花紋様・扉は酒呑童子の金具は付けられており、作の良い金具。

角金具は、宝尽くし金具や松金具図の金具が付けられており、引手は大きな蕨手で座金は松の図等が付けられています。

また、縁には前面には鉄帯が付けられ他の時代箪笥とは一線を画く特別な趣に仕上がっています。

塗りは木地呂塗りで塗られ、良い状態

材は、前板と抽斗中は桐材。枠は杉無垢材。

扉を開けると抽斗が二杯有り下段奥には隠し箱が有ります。

鍵は、４本有り８ヶ所全て施錠開錠可能。

Sado area， Niigata Prefecture (Yawata) Stacked Sado chests

This Sado chest of drawers has thick metal fittings and two small drawers above the lower door.

The metal fittings are old and thick flat hammered openwork metal fittings are attached.

From the top， Ebisu Daikoku， Takasago， The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter (Kaguya-hime)， a turtle in the waves， a chrysanthemum pattern on the small drawer， and the metal fittings of Shuten-doji on the door are well-made metal fittings.

The corner metal fittings are attached with metal fittings such as Takarazukuri metal fittings and pine metal fittings.

In addition， an iron belt is attached to the front of the edge， giving it a special atmosphere that sets it apart from other period chests.
